Surface dressing

Surface dressing consist of a layer of bituminous binder sprayed on a previously prepared base and followed by a cover of stone chips rolled in to form a wearing course. Surface Dressing prolongs the service life of roads by sealing the pavement and restoring the skid resistance. Early intervention with these treatments can significantly reduce the frequency of structural reconstruction.
